The choirs are always pleased to hear from those who might invite them to perform, and from those who would like to sing the repertoire of the choirs. Rehearsals are held in Compton, Winchester (see below). Applications from S A T B voices are always welcome. Reasonably good sight-reading is desirable, though not essential; good intonation and musical awareness are, however, most necessary. Vibrato is, of course, neither desirable nor pleasing and never required! The members socialise at least twice each year at a summer barbecue or skittles evening, and at a Christmas or New Year dinner in a pleasant pub somewhere. Indeed, many socialise each week immediately after choir practice! The annual fee is an extraordinarily modest sum.
